What Tusla asks for
- The written policies, procedures and statements in Schedule 5.
- Signed evidence that your staff have read them.
- Information parents are entitled to, and a way to get at it.
- A healthy eating policy, in line with the nutrition standards.

What it doesn't do
- We do not read your policies, or tell you whether you are missing one.
- We do not write them for you.
- We hold your safeguarding statement and none of the other Regulation 23 records: no medication log, no sleep checks, no risk assessments.

Questions
- Does it know which policies I am missing?
- No. It holds what you upload and tracks who has signed it. Checking your set against Schedule 5 is still yours to do.
- How does someone sign a document?
- They draw their signature with a mouse, finger or stylus, or type their name. It is kept on the document with the date they signed.
- Do parents get told when a policy changes?
- Not automatically. Signatures are cleared so you can see who has not signed the new version, and the reminding is yours.
